There is an article in the National Post today about a woman trying to have her Canadian citizenship application fast-tracked.

Bushra Halepota—a permanent resident of Canada—is using a obscure provision in Canadian law that allows citizenship applications to be fast-tracked if said person “provides services of an exceptional value to Canada.”1

I don’t have an opinion on this as I don’t have enough information to decide, but it does expose some blatant—and not so blatant—racism. And, I’m not talking about the article. Continue Reading
